Cedar Ridge Farm has a 16-stall barn with fire and security alarm systems. Stalls are 12’ X 12’ with heavy duty rubber mats and deep pine shavings. Wash racks are outfitted with rubber pavers for flooring. There is a separate farrier aisle with extra overhead and side lighting as well as individual fans and spotlights per stall. All stalls have dutch doors to the outside, and full closing doors inside. The entire barn can be closed in winter and provides a comfortable environment for the horses.
There are 12 paddocks of 4 board fencing with top hot wire of approximately 3-6 acres each. Most horses are turned out individually or with one compatible companion.
Carolyn Cadier manages the equine care at CRF…..Great attention is paid to the individual horse and his physical and mental needs. The farm is also conveniently located approximately 20 minutes from the University of Georgia Veterinary Hospital.
